I am a Minnesota-based design bookbinder and box maker. I repair books in addition to designing and binding custom books and boxes. In each creation, I blend board, cloth, leather, paper, and/or modern materials, employing a careful balance of traditional and contemporary techniques. I explore less emphasized structural details, to discover and share the joy concealed within the ordinary. I aspire to bring joy and beauty to the functional.
